PROFESSIONAL HOUSING REHABILITATION ASSOCIATION OF NORTH CAROLINA
Est. 1993
What is PHRANC? PHRANC is a membership based non-profit organization that empowers housing rehabilitation specialists across North Carolina to deliver safe, energy-efficient housing to low and moderate-income families. We do this by providing advanced professional training, setting industry standards, and educating communities on the vital role rehab specialists play in preserving safe neighborhoods. |
Who should join?
We invite individuals, businesses, township and municipality leaders, volunteer project coordinators, construction project managers and anyone else involved in the oversight or construction of home rehabilitation to consider joining PHRANC. Membership allows access to a vast network of like-minded individuals that are willing to learn, or teach, best practices when it comes to housing rehab. Whether you have 30 years experience, or 3 weeks, it doesn't matter in PHRANC. There is always something new to learn in the construction field. New codes, regulations, products, installation methods, tools, software and even phone apps. PHRANC will guide you through these changes and give you the knowledge that your jobs are up-to-code, safe, efficient, and the work is being completed at the highest quality of standards.
We achieve our mission through three core pillars:
To support our members' professional advancement', PHRANC integrates mandatory certification training directly into our two yearly events:
Professional Testing: Courses directly prepare members for official certification exams.
PHRANC offers members two levels of accreditation:
Certified Rehabilitation Specialist (CRS)
Master Rehabilitation Specialist (MRS)Ready to elevate your career and impact your community? [Click here to join PHRANC today].
